With Halloween behind us, it’s time for my favourite season: the season of giving! And what better way to start this year’s events than to donate a gift basket of handmade items from various artists including our own inhouse crew to the Arthur Agricultural Society’s “Denim and Diamonds Ladies Night“. We had a great time sewing new items from our upcoming catalogue of Function and Form line.

With the cold weather two things are just part of my daily existence and they are chapped lips and the sniffles. When you have a purse the size of mine, you can never find your tissue package or your lip balm so when I found designs (shout out to Tara Reed) to make holders for both of those things that were also able to have keychain hardware added I got right to the sewing machine. They turned out so well I had to include them in the gift basket.
Agriculture is a fundamental part of the human existence. Agricultural societies are a great source of education to everyone who hasn’t been blessed to experience farm life in person. These groups teach everything from square dancing to animal husbandry. Community is one of the biggest parts of agricultural societies and what better way to bring community together than a fun night out.
Hope everyone has a great time!
